CAMILLE GEISTER
A private funeral for Camille Geister of Santa Rosa, a former Marin resident, was held Monday in Santa Rosa.
Mrs. Geister died Saturday at her home after a brief illness. She was 73.
She was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin more than 50 years ago. She had lived in Larkspur and San Rafael. Her husband, Melvin Geister, owned the former Geister Brothers Marin Storage and Trucking Co.
Mrs. Geister was a homemaker. She and her husband moved to Santa Rosa 12 years ago.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Fields of Forestville and Shirley Thorsen of Sonoma; her brother, George Neecke of Larkspur; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Entombment was at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Sonoma County Unit, 864 St. Helena Ave., Santa Rosa 95404.
