WILLIS STARK
A Mass of Christian Burial for Willis “Bill” Stark of Kentfield will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Sebastian’s Church in Kentfield.
Mr. Stark, 80, died Monday at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Jackson, Amador county. He moved to Marin about 40 years ago.
He was a purchasing supervisor for Pacific Gas & Electric Co., where he had worked for 40 years.
He was a member of Sons in Retirement, the Tamalpais Golf Club, the San Francisco Council of the Young Men’s Institute, and the Sierra Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mary M. Stark of Kentfield; three sons, William Stark of Pacifica, Terrence Stark of San Rafael and Roger Stark of Stockton; two daughters, Collette Kempton of Victoria, British Columbia, and Rosemarie Ligouri of Westlake; a brother, Ernest Stark of San Francisco; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. Sebastian’s Church in Kentfield after 7 tonight. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
