Mrs. Nettie Downey Dies In Forest Knolls
Mrs. Nettie May Downey, 67, wife of a Forest Knolls retired carpenter foreman, died at her home yesterday. She had been suffering from a heart condition for some time.
She leaves her husband, Harry Harvey Downey of Forest Knolls, and two daughters in Marin county, Mrs. Emma Marie Wright of San Rafael and Mrs. Vita Irene Stirling of Forest Knolls.
Other survivors are sons Ray E. Downey of San Luis Obispo and Parmer E. Downey of San Bernardino; a sister Mrs. Marie Jennings of North Platte, Nebraska, and brothers Ray Miller of Sarben, Nebraska, and George R. Miller of Lakeview, Oregon.
Mrs. Downey had lived in Marin county for the past 27 years, in Larkspur, San Rafael, and Fairfax, before moving to Forest Knolls about one month ago.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Jenness Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
