H. JAY MORGAN

A memorial service for H. Jay Morgan of Greenbrae, a piano tuner for 80 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tamalpais Residence Chapel in Greenbrae.

Mr. Morgan died Monday at the age of 103 after a brief illness.

He was born in Oakland and lived most of his life in San Francisco. He had lived in Marin for 16 years.

He was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West, a lover of classical music and an avid walker. Until he was in his early 90s, friends recalled, he regularly walked two to three miles.

He outlived two wives, Grace Morgan and Edith Morgan.

Burial will be private.

His family asked that memorial gifts go to the American Red Cross.
