EDWARD L. BILSBOROUGH
Edward Lowe Bilsborough, 59, of Novato, died Tuesday at a San Francisco hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Bilsborough was born in Valier, Mont., and grew up and attended schools in Bakersfield.
He attended Bakersfield College and graduated from the University of Utah.
He moved to Novato in 1956.
He worked in construction management in the Bay Area for many years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Novato Ward, where he had served on the High Council. He also was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Bilsborough is survived by his wife, Renee, of Novato; two sons, Craig Bilsborough of Chico and Brett Bilsborough of Petaluma; two daughters, Shauna Devenport and Lisa Bilsborough, both of Utah; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in Novato. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park in Novato. Visitation will take place between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday at Redwood Chapel in Novato.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
