ALAN L. KREUZBERGER
A memorial service for Alan L. Kreuzberger of Kentfield will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Presbyterian Church at Lake and Arguello streets in San Francisco.
Mr. Kreuzaberger, 66, died unexpectedly Tuesday in Klamath Falls, Ore.
He was a native of San Francisco. During World War II, he served in the Marines, VMF-312.
He belonged to the Optimist Club of San Francisco and was a founding member of the Tamalpa Running Club of Marin.
He ran the Boston Marathon in 1974 at the age of 55.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Kreuzberger of Kentfield; one daughter, Karen Johnson of Yakima, Wash.; three sons, Kimber Kreuzberger of Chicago, Donald Kreuzberger of Sonoma and Neil Kreuzberger of Sausalito; a brother, Robert Kreuzberger of San Francisco; and six grandchildren.
Inurnment will be private.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the St. John’s Church Building Fund, the Marine Memorial Building Fund or to a favorite charity.
