SELMA E. STONE
A memorial service was held Monday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo for Selma E. Stone of San Rafael. Mrs. Stone died Friday at the Hillhaven Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael. She was 77.
Mrs. Stone was born in Eureka and lived most of her life in Fairfax.
Her husband, Fred Stone, a retired radio technician for the county of Marin, died in April. She is survived by a sister, Marie Edwards of Vista, San Diego County.
Inurnment was at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
Her family asked that memorial gifts go to the Arthritis Foundation, 11 Belle Ave., San Anselmo, 94960, or Alzheimer’s Disease, 360 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, Ill. 60601.
