GERTRUDE TOMKINS
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gertrude Tomkins of San Rafael was said Monday at Mission San Rafael Arcangel in San Rafael.
Mrs. Tomkins, 88, died Thursday at Rafael Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael.
She was born in Illinois.
Mrs. Tomkins is survived by her husband, William James Tomkins of San Rafael; two daughters, Elaine Gorman of Greenbrae and Mary Jane Collins; three sons, Thomas James Tomkins, William J. Tomkins Jr. and Robert Jay Tomkins; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
