Heart Trouble Fatal To Woman
The funeral of Mrs. Grace Conkling, who passed away last Tuesday at her residence, 555 D street, will be held at 10 o’clock this morning at the family home. Heart trouble was the cause of death. The funeral will be under the direction of Dr. F. E. Sawyer.
Mrs. Conkling was well known here and had [a] host of friends who [mourn her] death. She was born in San Francisco, and was the daughter of the late Margarite Shields. She was the wife of Arthur Conkling, the moth[er] of Don S. Conkling and the sister of Mrs. Cora M. Otten, Mrs. A. W. Williams, Mrs. Olena Dillon and Burt Shields.
