HAROLD H. LOVE
A private funeral has been held for Harold H. Love of Walnut Creek, a former San Rafael resident.
Mr. Love died Sept. 28 in Walnut Creek. He was 83.
He was born in Sedgley, England, and lived in Edmonton, Canada, Berkeley, Lake Tahoe and San Rafael before moving to Rossmoor in Walnut Creek eight years ago.
He was a member of Mission Masonic Lodge of San Francisco, Oakland Scottish Rite Bodies, Aahmes Shrine Temple, Rossmoor Shrine Club and Rossmoor High Twelve Club.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Love of Walnut Creek; two sons, Thomas E. Love of Oakland and Jeffrey E. Love of Burlingame; a stepdaughter, Sallee Taaffe of San Rafael; a stepson, Russell Melquist of Willows in Glenn County; two sisters, Florence Love and Annabelle Jeffries of Edmonton, Canada; a brother, Clifford Love of San Dimas; and six grandchildren.
