Dr. VARON F. SMITH
Dr. Varon F. Smith of Tiburon, a retired dentist, died Sept. 16 at Ross General Hospital after a heart attack. He was 90.
Dr. Smith was born in Portland, Ore., and had lived in Marin since 1934.
He was a retired commander in the Navy Reserve and saw military service during World War I and World War II.
Dr. Smith practiced dentistry in San Anselmo until retiring in 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Dr. Dora Tanner Smith of Tiburon, with whom he shared the dental practice, and a sister, Virginia Boyer of San Leandro.
