Christopher Chisholm Dies Suddenly

Christopher Chisholm, an old and respected resident of this city, died suddenly at his home here on Fifth street last Saturday. The interment took place at Holy Cross cemetery, in the city, on Monday. There was a large attendance of friends. The members of the San Francisco Builders Exchange, of which deceased was a charter member, turned out in force and followed the remains to the grave.

Deceased was one of the largest contractors in the city. He built the old Palace hotel and a number of other large buildings. He also built the Dollar home and the Dominican college in this city. He was a man of sterling worth and great force of character.
