ROBERT WHITE

Services were held Sunday for Robert White of Tiburon, a lecturer and head of the Northern California division of Smokenders.

Mr. White died Friday of cancer at Marin General Hospital. He was 36 years old.

He was born in Ohio and had lived in Chicago for a number of years before moving to California about three yeas ago. He lived for a time in San Francisco and moved to Tiburon two years ago.

He was active in Big Brothers of Marin and the Hunger Project. He ran in the San Francisco Marathon in 1983.

“He was an active sportsman and a very, very great humanitarian,” said his mother, Irene White of San Francisco She is Mr. White’s only immediate survivor.
