Mrs. Bamford Dies At Advanced Age
Mrs. Elizabeth Bamford, mother of the late Edith Osteyee, passed away at her home here Tuesday at the age of 72 years. She was a native of Wales.
The death was a sorrowful surprise. Less than a week ago she met with a fall and her injuries proved more serious than at first thought, and she suffered a stroke of paralysis, from which she failed to rally. She led a noble life, was unselfish, sympathetic, cheerful, and will be sadly missed.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at the Congregational church and burial will be made in Mount Tamalpais cemetery.
