ELEANOR M. BOURNE
A private service was held Friday for Eleanor M. Bourne of San Anselmo, a Marin native and longtime resident.
Mrs. Bourne, who was 69, died Friday at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda after a brief illness.
She was born and raised in Lagunitas and had lived in Santa Rosa and San Francisco before moving to San Anselmo. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bourne is survived by her husband, Sam; two sons, Douglas S. Bourne of Redding and Bruce H. Bourne of San Leandro; three sisters, Alna Ramponi of San Anselmo, Eunice Thompson of Petaluma and Geneva Bourne of Bolinas; and five grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
