San Francisco Man Drowned Near Black Pt.
Up to the time of going to press no trace had been found of the body of William Quinton, the San Francisco man drowned last Thursday in San Pablo bay off the Petaluma creek.
Under the direction of the boy’s mother, Mrs. Mary Quinton, the search has been carried on every day.
Quinton, who was about 30 years of age, and John Hughes, also of San Francisco, were hunting ducks at the time of the accident. Quinton was aboard a launch a short distance from shore, and was seen by Hughes to stumble and fall overboard. He sank before Hughes could reach him.
