LOUISE LAWRENCE
Louise Lawrence, a travel adviser and former resident of Stinson Beach, died Sunday in a San Rafael convalescent hospital after a long illness. She was 76.
A native of Whiskeytown, Shasta County, she lived in Woodland and San Francisco before moving to Stinson Beach 43 years ago.
She worked as a travel counselor for the California State Automobile Association for about 45 years until she retired about 10 years ago.
Mrs. Lawrence was a Christian Science Reader for the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Bolinas.
Mrs. Lawrence worked with the Stinson Beach Community Arts and Crafts Center and the Marin County Humane Society.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph F. Lawrence of Stinson Beach; a stepson, Joseph R. Lawrence of Detroit; and a brother, Don A. Kimball of Portland, Ore.
Funeral arrangements are being conducted by a San Francisco cremation society.
