LYDIA MAUD PILKINGTON
A funeral for Lydia Maud Pilkington of Petaluma, a former Marin resident, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Russell and Gooch mortuary in Mill Valley.
Mrs. Pilkington died Monday at her daughter’s home after a brief illness. She was 88.
Mrs. Pilkington, a native of Liverpool, England, came to the United States in 1922. She had lived in Mill Valley for more than 50 years before moving to Petaluma four years ago. She was a homemaker.
Survivors are a son, Jack Pilkington of Santa Rosa; two daughters, Marjorie Koppy of Sebastopol and Hazel Bagley of Petaluma; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the mother of the late Edith Jean Peters.
