She was born in Cranston, R. I., and lived in Florida for a time. She moved to Marin in 1981.
She was a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Mass., and was a speech therapist. In Marin, she had worked as a salesperson at the Emporium department store.
Surviving are her father, Charles A. Arnold Sr. of Rhode Island; two sons, Christopher Jones of Georgia and Mark Stephen Jones of San Rafael; two daughters, Pamela-Ann Jones of Fairfax and Wendy-Lynn Jones of San Anselmo; a brother, Charles A. Arnold of Webster, N. Y.; and one grandson.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be sent to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903, or to the American Cancer Society.
