MADELINE BOYD

Mrs. Madeline J. Boyd of Kentfield, owner of the Boyd Lighting Fixture Co. of San Francisco, died at a local hospital yesterday after a short illness.

The widow of William J. Boyd, founder of the company, she was born in San Francisco and lived there until she moved to her Kentfield home 14 years ago. She was a summer resident of Kentfield from 1925 before moving there permanently.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Cahill, Mrs. John Sweet and Mrs. David Williams; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Soto and Mrs. Gertrude Mickelson; and a brother, Ralph Ryan.

Funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Larkspur. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Evergreen Mortuary, San Francisco.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Boyd, Carolynn, Sandra and Deborah Cahill, Jay Sweet, Pamela and James Williams.
