Mrs. P. F. Scilacci Influenza Victim
Mrs. Claudina Scilacci, wife of Peter Scilacci, prominent Pt. Reyes merchant and rancher, passed away at the Emergency Hospital here last Sunday from pneumonia, following an attack of influenza.
She had been ill but a short time. She was brought down from t he home to the hospital last week and continued to grow worse until the end came. She was one of the best known women in northern Marin. Before her marriage she was Miss Claudina Mazza, member of a prominent family. Her sister, Mrs. Olimpia Keating, recently lost her husband, Thomas Keating, who was also a victim of influenza.
The funeral took place privately Tuesday, with services at the Olema Catholic church. Interment was under the direction of Dr. Sawyer.
She is survived by her husband and two sons, George M. Scilacci and Wilford J. Scilacci, the latter now in France. Her daughter, Miss Edwina, passed away about a year ago.
