JEAN M. CAZNEAUX
A funeral for Jean Meeker Cazneaux of San Rafael will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Mrs. Cazneaux died Monday at the Hillside convalescent Hospital in San Rafael after a lengthy illness. She was 78.
She was born in Duncans Mills in Sonoma County and lived in Camp Meeker, which was named for her family.
Mrs. Cazneaux moved to San Rafael as a youngster and was a graduate of San Rafael High School.
She worked 25 year with the Pacific Telephone Co. and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Her husband, Walter K. Cazneaux, died three years ago.
She is survived by a son, Stanley M. Cazneaux of Saratoga; a daughter, Kathryn Leonetti of Novato; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary. Entombment will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers that memorial gifts go to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94901.
