R. DONALD HICKS
R. Donald Hicks, 75, a longtime resident of Mill Valley, died Thursday in Illinois following a long illness.
He was a resident of Mill Valley for 25 years before moving to Illinois five years ago.
Mr. Hicks had worked for the Mill Valley Post Office for 15 years before he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Hicks of Illinois; two daughters, Carol Weseth of Penngrove and Susan Hicks of Mill Valley; and a son, Stephen Hicks of Vacaville.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael.
