ELLEN HEADY
Requiem Mass for Ellen Veronica Heady, a resident of Nazareth House in San Rafael who died Saturday, will be held at Nazareth House at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow.
She died after a short illness at the age of 81.
Mrs. Heady was a veteran of World War I, in which she served in the Navy as a chief yeoman.
Her husband, William A. Heady, died in 1961. For many years the couple operated a general store at Rio Oso, Sutter County. They ran a ranch there and Mrs. Heady was postmaster of the town for many years.
Mrs. Heady was a member of the American Legion and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She was a native of Portmouth, N. H. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Donovan of Portsmouth.
Rosary will be recited at Nazareth House at 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Elizabethtown, Ky. Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael, is handling arrangements.
