ELVIRA BLUMENTHAL
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated June 26 at St. Sylvester’s Church in San Rafael for Elvira Blumenthal of San Rafael.
Mrs. Blumenthal, 85, died Monday at home after a long illness.
She was a native of Switzerland and came to the United States 65 years ago.
Mrs. Blumenthal lived in San Francisco before moving to Marin with her family 20 years ago.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Steven Blumenthal of San Rafael; a son, Steve J. Blumenthal of San Rafael; two daughters, Delores Long of San Francisco and Jacqueline Petersen of Eureka; two brothers, Bill Lombardini of Los Angeles and Barth Lombardini of San Francisco; a sister, Rosa Gasparini of Switzerland; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin.
