JEROME FAY

A memorial Mass for Jerome “Jerry” G. Fay, former maintenance man for Novato schools, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.

Mr. Fay died Tuesday in Marin General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 72.

He was born in Glencoe, Minn. And reared in Minneapolis. He moved to California in 1942 to work at Marinship in Sausalito. After the war, he worked for the H. E. Little Burner Co. in San Rafael.

Mr. Fay was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as a rock hounder.

He was a member of the Marin Rod and Gun Club and the Marin Mineral Society. He also enjoyed camping and traveling.

Mr. Fay is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eva Fay of Novato; a son, Dennis Fay of Novato; and four brothers, James Fay of Novato and Thomas, Gerald and John Fay, all of Minnesota.

Private inurnment will be at Valley Memorial Park in Novato.

The family prefers that contributions be made to the Marin County Kidney Association, P. O. Box 670, Corte Madera, 94925.
