EDWARD FINN
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Sebastopol for Edward “Ted” Finn, who was born in Mill Valley and lived most of his life there.
Mr. Finn died Wednesday at Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol after a short illness. He was 77 years old.
For 32 years, he worked as a galvanizer for the state of California.
He was born in Mill Valley and lived there until he moved to Sebastopol in 1972. He was a third-generation California.
Mr. Finn graduated from Tamalpais High School and the University of California at Davis and was a lifetime member of the school’s alumni association.
Surviving are his wife, Mary A. Finn of Sebastopol; a daughter, Mary Louise Pearse of Tacoma, Wash.; a son, Edward Raymond Finn of Sacramento; and a brother, Robert Berkeley Finn of Greenbrae.
Inurnment will be private.
