Sausalito Resident Dies in Oakland
John D. Coughlin, father of Edward G. Coughlin, Deputy County Auditor, passed away in Oakland last Saturday after an illness of some length at the age of 72 years and eight months.
Deceased was the father of a large family of children, all of whom survive him. His wife preceded him in death some years ago.
The children who survive him are John J., Thomas L., Edward G. and James H. Coughlin, Isabella Coughlin, Mrs. Earl D. Pilsbury and Mrs. Langdon Peterson.
The funeral was held Monday in San Francisco and the remains removed to Sausalito, the family home, where mass was celebrated in the Star of the Sea church.
