MRS. PREBLE
Mrs. Jeanette Preble, 47, of Mill Valley died in a local hospital last night after a long illness.
Mrs. Preble was the wife of Clyde Preble, an estimator in the industrial management department of Hunter’s Point Naval Shipyard. The couple resided at 532 Midvale Way, Mill Valley, since March 15, when they returned from a year’s residence in San Francisco. They previously resided in Tamalpais Valley for two years, and before that in San Francisco.
Mrs. Preble was a native of Los Angeles.
During her early Tamalpais Valley residence, she was a member of the Tamalpais Valley Improvement Club, and appeared in its 1963 “Rhubarb Revue.”
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Thomas Meeds of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, John Thomas of Seattle, and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Soest of Los Angeles and Mrs. Audrienne Thomas of El Monte, Los Angeles County.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley.
