LORRAINE V. DeMATEI
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lorraine V. DeMatei of Novato will be said at 11 am. Tuesday at Our Lady of Loretto Church in Novato.
Mrs. DeMatei died Saturday at her home following a long illness. She was 66.
She was a native of California and had lived in Novato for the past two years.
Mrs. DeMatei was a member of Salesian Mothers Club, San Francisco Parlor No. 261 of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Italian Catholic Federation No. 259 and Druids Regina Margherita Circle No. 47.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene E. DeMatei of Novato; a son, Ronald DeMatei of Novato; a daughter, Beverly Smith of Novato; and four grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited today at 7:30 p.m. at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato. Entombment will be in Valley Memorial Park in Novato.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Ronald and Rick DeMatei and Gina and Steven Smith, and a cousin of Sister Beverly Lorenzetti P.B.V.M.
