VINCE ASHTON
The memorial service for Vince Ashton of Aptos, a former Marin resident, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Oval Garden of Villa Montalvo in Saratoga.
Mr. Ashton died Oct. 16 in a Los Angeles hospital from injuries suffered in an auto accident. He was 35.
He was born in New York City and reared in Baltimore. He lived in Fairfax for many years before moving to Aptos in 1984. Mr. Ashton was a self-employed musician and song writer.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Jane Richter of Aptos; his mother, Anne Ashton of Los Gatos; and two brothers, Frank Ashton of San Jose and Joe Ashton of San Francisco.
Burial will be private. The family prefers contributions to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, P. O. Box 1354, Aptos, 95001.
