RUTH FARNUN ZARO
Ruth Farnun Zaro of Larkspur died Sunday Jan. 21, 1990, at Laguna Honda Hospital in San Francisco after a lengthy illness. She was 68.
She was born in Canada and lived many years in Larkspur.
She worked as a business administrator for the Southland Corp. in San Leandro.
Mrs. Zaro was a past president of American Business Women’s Association of San Francisco and past editor of the group’s newsletter. She also was a member of the First Congregational Church.
She especially loved sculpture and painting.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ernest L. Zaro of Larkspur; a sister, Lee Akstull of Florida; and two brothers, William Sandford of New York and Thomas Sandford of Florida.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Tamalpais Mortuary in San Rafael. Inurnment will be private.
Her family prefers that contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
