ROBERT LA PLANTE
Robert La Plante of San Anselmo died Thursday at Ross General Hospital. He was 56. Arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society in San Rafael.

ROBERT L. LA PLANTE
Robert L. La Plante, a longtime Marin resident and retired civil engineer for the Navy, died unexpectedly Thursday at Ross General Hospital. He was 55. (sic)
Mr. La Plante was born in Norton, Mass., and had lived in Mill Valley and San Anselmo for 19 years.
For 39 years, he worked as an engineer, retiring in February.
He was a member of the Marin Rod and Gun Club, Society of Port Engineers in San Francisco and the St. Elmo’s Masonic Lodge in Oakland.
He is survived by his wife, Karla; a son, Marc La Plante of San Anselmo; and a sister, Irene Ladoucer of Maine.
A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo.
The family prefers memorial donations to Masonic Homes of California, 3903 Broadway, Oakland, 94611, or to a favorite charity.
