N. L. Sims Follows Father to Grave
A life of pain and patient suffering ended last Monday morning with the death of Norman L. Sims at his residence on Allman avenue.
Crippled almost from birth, he had borne his cross with forbearance. For many years he had been a familiar figure on the streets of San Rafael in company with his father who drove a confectionary wagon. His father died a few months ago.
The deceased was taken seriously ill a week ago and had steadily grown worse until the end. Mrs. Amy Sims Aylesworth, his sister, was taken ill two days before her brother died, and is still confined to her bed.
The remains were taken to the parlors of Dr. F. E. Sawyer, where the funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock this morning.
