FRANCES SCHOENBERGER
A memorial Mass for Frances Schoenberger of Honolulu, who has a number of relatives living in the North Bay, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia’s Church in Lagunitas.
Mrs. Schoenberger, who was 70, died Oct. 18 in a Honolulu hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born and reared in Santa Rosa and then lived a long time in San Francisco before moving to Hawaii in 1964.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Schoenberger of Honolulu; two daughters, Ginger Poczatek of Petaluma and Barbara Echo of Woodacre; two brothers, Peter La Franchi of Santa Rosa and Charles La Franchi of San Francisco; two sisters, Josephine Marzell of Novato and Pina Arellano of San Francisco; and four grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
