THEONE E. MONK
The memorial service for Theone E. Monk of San Mateo, mother of Raye A. Murray of Novato, will be at 7:30 tonight at the First Christian Church in San Mateo.
Mrs. Monk died unexpectedly Monday while visiting her son in Marin. She was 76.
Mrs. Monk, a native of Underwood, N.D., had lived in Seattle for many years before moving to San Mateo. She was a member of the First Christian Church of San Mateo.
Her husband, Kenneth Monk, died in 1977.
In addition to her son in Novato, she is also survived by two more sons, Dale Murray of Kent, Wash., and Trent Monk of Burlingame; two brothers, Kenneth Vertz and Forrest Vertz, both of Seattle; a sister, Margaret Dubinski of Cicero, Ill.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Burial will be at Washington Memorial Park in Seattle. The family prefers contributions to The Bible Radio, Box 100, Arroyo Annex, Pasadena, Calif., 91109, or a favorite charity.
