PAUL R. CINQ-MARS Jr.
Paul R. Cinq-Mars Jr. of Novato died Monday at Novato Community Hospital of a heart attack. He was 47.
Mr. Cinq-Mars was born in Rhode Island and had lived in Marin since 1972.
He owned and operated Mill Valley Chevron.
He also was a reserve police officer in San Francisco.
Mr. Cinq-Mars was a member of the Service Station Dealers of Marin and a past President of the Marin Rod & Gun Club in San Rafael.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cinq-Mars; two daughters, Cheryl Curfman of Douglas City, Trinity County, and Deborah Cinq-Mars of Novato; his mother, Mary Whittlesey of Oakmont; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin in Novato. Burial will be private.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the grandfather of Valerie and Taryn Curfman.
