While her son, Dr. J. S. Spottiswood, lay close to death’s door in San Rafael, a victim of influenza, Mrs. Sophia G. Spottiswood, aged 80 years, passed away at her Mill Valley home Monday. The funeral was held in San Francisco yesterday.
