Lillian Johansen
A funeral for Lillian Johansen of San Francisco, a former San Rafael resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Miss Johansen died unexpectedly Sunday at University of California Hospital in San Francisco. She was 89.
She was a native of San Rafael and lived there 35 years until moving to San Francisco. She worked as a private secretary for wholesale chemical firms.
Miss Johansen was a member of the Marin Historical Soceity and the Rebekah Lodge in San Rafael.
She is survived by a brother, Frederick “Fritz” L. Johansen of Folsom; and three sisters, Emily Kurtz of San Rafael, Ann Lane of Forestville and Tudy Rogers of Petaluma.
Friends may call this evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Marin Historical Society, 1125 B St., San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the daughter to the late Ludwig and Louise Johansen.
