Pioneer Succumbs To Malady Of Age
William D. Robertson, 86 years of age, and for many years a resident of San Rafael, passed away here last week after a long illness, and was buried Monday at Cypress Lawn cemetery, San Francisco.
Robertson’s love for Marin’s hills and valleys, and his fondness of outdoor life, were known to every person who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. He was a noted hunter. In his earlier life he spent some years in the mining counties of northern California.
He was a brother of the late John Robertson and the uncle of Mrs. Fannie Duncan and the late William (Chub) Robertson.
