WILLIAM WINTER
William Winter of Corte Madera died Wednesday at Fort Miley Hospital in San Francisco after a short illness. He was 47.
He was born in Berkeley and moved with his family to Corte Madera in 1940.
After graduation from Sir Francis Drake High School he entered the Air Force for a five-year term, serving in Texas and South America.
Later, he attended College of Marin.
He is survived by his mother, Califoria (sic) Pixley Winter of Corte Madera.
A family memorial service will be scheduled later at the Family Church in [San] Anselmo.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Marin County Kidney Association or the Family Church.
