GEORGE RUSSI WILLIAMS
A funeral for George Russi Williams of Greenbrae will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. Mr. Williams, 75, died Tuesday at Presbyterian Hospital in San Francisco after open heart surgery.
Mr. Williams had lived in Mill Valley and Greenbrae for many years.
He had been the supervisor of the Marin shipyards during World War II. Following the war, he started his own business, Marin Equipment Co.
He is survived by two daughters, Kevel Jane Gutman of Oakland and Kimberly Jean Mart of Merced; his former wife, Nancy L. Lyons of Merced; a nephew who he had helped raise, Spencer E. Ramsey of Concord; and two grandsons.
Friends may call for visitation from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Russell & Gooch. Burial will be private.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
