GEORGE JOSEPH FAGAN
George Joseph Fagan of San Rafael, former owner of the San Anselmo Pharmacy, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1986, at Ross General Hospital.
Mr. Fagan, who was 85, was a native of Vallejo.
He was in the 1924 graduating class of the University of California at Berkeley.
He came to Marin County in 1937 from Santa Rosa where he owned the Medico Pharmacy.
In Marin, he owned the San Anselmo Pharmacy until his retirement in 1969.
He was a member of Goldenaires and past treasurer of Senior Coordinating Council.
He is survived by four daughters, Diane Edwards of Wisconsin, Donna Fagan of Washington, Kathy Haun of Santa Rosa and Cecilia Simontacchi of San Rafael; a sister, Verna Barnes of Missouri; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12:30 p.m. Monday at St. Anselm’s Church, Ross. Entombment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Terra Linda.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
Friends may call for visitation after 5 p.m. Sunday.
