MYRA J. TALBOT
A funeral for Myra J. Talbot, a longtime San Rafael resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
Mrs. Talbot died Wednesday at the Fifth Avenue Convalescent Hospital in San Rafael after a lengthy illness. She was 53.
She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and lived in Denver before moving to San Rafael in 1967.
Mrs. Talbot worked as a Realtor and was also a professional dress designer. She was also involved in the breeding of miniature and toy poodles.
She was a member of the Audubon Society, Greenpeace and the 300 Club religious group. Mrs. Talbot was also known for assisting friends during difficult times, especially those in Alcoholic Anonymous.
She was also an avid horsewoman.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamala S. Baird of San Rafael; a son, Michael G. Tatum of Sparks, Nev.; and a brother, Monte McKenzie of South Carolina.
Inurnment will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Denver, Colo.
