R. B. FRANKLIN
Funeral for Russell B. Franklin of San Rafael will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Russell and Gooch Chapels in Mill Valley.
Franklin, 58, died Monday in a local hospital following a brief illness.
A native of St. Paul, Minn., he had lived in California and Marin County for 24 years, residing at 217 Alpine Street. Since 1967 he had been employed as a building inspector for the Reed School District, and before that worked as a construction inspector for a San Francisco building firm.
Franklin is survived by his wife, Florence; a son, David R. Franklin of San Rafael; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Bishop of Rohnert Park and Mrs. Paul Kelly of Benicia; four brothers, Burton, Carl, Earl and Anthony Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Irene Franklin and Mrs. Alice Johnston, all of Minnesota, and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
