CHARLES COHEN
Funeral for Charles (Ted) Cohen, owner of Ted’s Taxi and Limousine Service in Tiburon, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Russell and Gooch mortuary, Mill Valley.
Cohen, 51, died unexpectedly Tuesday in Culver City, Los Angeles County, while on vacation.
Cohen, of 488 Irving Court, Belveron West, ran the taxi service for 16 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was a Marin resident for 20 years.
Cohen was an unsuccessful candidate for the Tiburon City Council in 1964, when the city incorporated and belonged to the Taxi Cab Association and the Tiburon Lions Club.
Survivors are four children, Niccolette Russo of Petaluma, Cheryl and Debbie Cohen of Tiburon, and Terry Cohen of Fresno, and a brother, Herb Cohen of Maryland.
Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the mortuary.
