CATHERINE A. HELMER
A graveside service for Catherine Agnes Helmer of San Rafael will be held Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery in Skaneateles, N.Y.
Mrs. Helmer, 96, died Saturday in San Rafael at the home of a daughter, Lydia Angelini.
Mrs. Helmer was a native of New York and had lived for 50 years in Skaneateles. She moved to Marin four years ago.
Mrs. Helmer is survived by two other daughters, Ann Kelley of Waverly, N.Y., and Ora Irene Halladay of Temple City, Los Angeles County; a son, Walter Helmer of Skaneateles; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial gifts to the Church of St. Isabella’s in San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the Nov. 11 paper adds that she was the wife of the late Edson LeRoy Helmer.
