FRANK W. SOLDAVINI
A funeral for Frank W. Soldavini of Petaluma, a longtime Marin resident, was to be held today at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma.
Mr. Soldavini died Sunday at Petaluma Valley Hospital. He was 67.
He was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and was reared in San Rafael. After serving in the Marines during World War II, he returned to Marin.
Mr. Soldavini worked as a meat cutter for 40 years. He worked for several companies in Marin, last working for Lucky Meats. He retired five years ago.
His family moved to Petaluma 15 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Carmel F. Soldavini of Petaluma; a son, William F. Soldavini of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Marjorie F. Lipori and Marianne De La Montanya, both of Petaluma; a sister, Maria Kitzmiller of Napa; and eight grandchildren.
The family prefers that contributions be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 415 A St., Petaluma, 94952. Burial was private, [in] Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma.
