Father of Local Woman Passes Away
James Reed, of Petaluma, passed away at his home there last Friday at the age of 84 years. He was a native of Ireland, but resided some years in Boston, Mass., before coming to the Pacific Coast.
The funeral was held Monday when mass was celebrated at St. Vincent’s church.
The deceased was the husband of Mrs. Ellen Reed, and the father of Mary Reed, Mrs. Nellie Flieschmann of San Rafael, J. T. Reed of San Francisco, and the late Harry Reed of Petaluma.
