Merchant’s Illness Proves Fatal
Morris Cohen, for many years a San Rafael merchant, passed away here Tuesday after an illness of many months from tuberculosis.
The deceased had recently returned from a period of treatment in a San Francisco hospital, somewhat improved, but in the past few weeks he had steadily grown worse until the end.
He was 54 years of age, a member of Napa Tent No. 39, Maccabees; Golden Gate Lodge of San Francisco, and Golden Gate Lodge No. 208, O.B.A.
He was the husband of Mrs. Esther Cohen and the father of Mrs. R. Zeff, Mrs. Walter Castro, Bennie, Hyman and Isador Cohen. The funeral will take place today.
